Making the world a better place through an pandemic

Life as we know it has changed drastically, and i'm the kind of person who first observes, listens and take precautions, unlike the ones that procrastinate with a problem, they dwell and dwell and then its too late. January 2020, going to work, I noticed 3 people were sick with a flu, thankfully I didn't get it and only because I frequently wash my hands and use hand sanitizer, but watching the news from china, I realized this is going to be bad, and it came true. Spoke to my husband and we agreed, we needed to inform everyone in our families, just so they are aware and even though it's a little of paranoia, they are better safe than sorry. Although I lost and uncle and aunt from different families, I am grateful that we are all okay. Till today this awful virus has not been easy on us, we are all being challenged to get use to this normality, which is getting exhausting. I am an optimistic person with good intentions to keep on, but there are a lot of people who dwell with it differently.

It is now August 2020, and it had quiet down from all the BLM protests and riots, it has been quite the summer, with no beach in sight, because of the avoidance of people and social distancing and going out when there are people around, who cares at this point. I hope everyone else is finding comfort on family and good things, and don't let this down times get you.  We have taken gardening and doing minor improvements around our home, cooking and having good treats to eat makes the days much brighter, and talking to family of course, keeping in touch by phone or zoom.

I have not been blogging since 2017, and it's time to write about the things that matter and what we look forward to, like painting more art, creating more crafts, taking care of our garden, we have so many veggies this season, green beans, squash, eggplant, tomatoes, jalapenos, basil for pesto, and lots of pretty flowers, this is what makes me happy in the mornings and Stevie my doggie loves being in the yard all day if she can. She is another reason why we can enjoy life regardless of what is going on outside. The way to stay strong is by being happy and feeling like Life still has a meaning, and nothing can take that away from us. God never intended for his world to become this way. it is in the bible that mankind will destroy it and with technology along, we are doomed for a dark end, hope this is centuries down the road and not in our lifetime.

I leave this painting above for you to view, it is called Pacha, translation "Home"
it is one of my visions of Mother Earth and the way we care for her, at least some of us. Others are driven by money and power, while we just want to live for as long as God allows us to. This painting means embracing your home, and protecting it. My art is what I can give for others to visualize and feel inspire to create. Art is what you see and feel put into a canvas, and your canvas is waiting.

More art to come, have been getting more inspiration since Fall is around the corner.
Also feel free to contact me for personalized painting, or crafts, as well as design work, freelancing again, website needs an update, time is essence.

Happy Easter,

In the beginning, when Jesus brought good to the world and
opened people's hearts through his faith in God, he made an impact
with just a few words, "we are all children of God, and we will too go
to heaven and be right next to him." I believe his death and resurrection
were indeed the most important meaning to all catholic's faith, it took
one person to bring peace and love among others, where and when
does that happen now, are we all an imitation of Jesus, do we bring
good to the world, are we god to people, animals, mother earth, etc.

Easter is a time to reflect all those things that we think and question
every day, a time to rejoice all the good that surrounds us and all the
things we feel grateful for, in Jesus name, he did everything for us.

On a lighter note, Easter is a happy time for all, family gatherings,
easter bunnies and easter eggs.

Here's a little history of the easter bunny and eggs:

According to some sources, the Easter bunny first arrived in
America in the 1700s with German immigrants who settled in
Pennsylvania and transported their tradition of an egg-laying
hare called “Osterhase” or “Oschter Haws.” Their children made
nests in which this creature could lay its colored eggs.

Which brings me to this, every year I sculpt little bunnies made of clay.
I also had time to bake some cupcakes, which i will post the result soon,
but i do my best work after hours.

Happy Easter everybody! let the egg hunt begin!

The beginning of a New Era

It seems as if the world is caving in with hate. With so many organizations, foundations,
political parties, confused genders, uneducated minds, people fearing for the worst and
more and more less people with faith, I find  myself with the need to ask: what is going on?
Why are some people so focused on unimportant obstacles in life, no matter what you do
or say, the earth keeps orbiting.

I am in disgrace to learn that there are many people so involved in the wrong things,
why not create something more productive, like in poetry, music, art and sports, something
that you can really use your mind into and you do it with harmony. For years people try to
achieve peace and yet we hear horrible acts in the news, it'll never stop because those are
people focused on the negatives of life.

As an artist it makes me sad to see so much despair, I am not entirely happy with the
Presidential results but it is what it is and I moved on. I am not going to let this take over
my life and my emotions, everyone can be strong individuals. The answer is to live and
love your life and do what's best for you and yours, creating chaos and joining strangers
in a rally is not the answer. It makes me really wonder though, what would people really
do in a terrible crisis, chant and hold signs that say "save me"?

Acknowledge the facts, when people go against something, they either get arrested or killed.

The point I want to make is that life is too damn short and you need to enjoy it. No one
can take your human rights away from you unless you're a criminal. There is so much to
do in life, like making a bucket list including places to explore, taking care of your well-being,
start a fun hobby and love the ones you love every day, for the rest of your days on this earth.

Keep your life in orbit and you'll see the stars.

Time for Pumpkin, it's Halloween

It's the time of year again, and it's scarier than the last one : D
Not so scary, just spooky. Below is a quick project to do when
You're running out of time and you need a quick decoration idea.

Easy project with simple tools, everything from Michael's craft store.

I'm fascinated by eye masks, they are mysterious no one ever knows who you are : D
This pumpkin is incognito, so it plays a purpose in your table decoration
and when you have guests, this serving plate is good for any kind of treat.

There's something extraterrestrial about this pumpkin face, hmmm....

Happy Halloween to everyone ; )

And remember "On Halloween, strange things happen"

LOve shineS

What is the meaning of LOve?
Waking up in the morning and feeling complete,
getting the phone call in the middle of the day, just to say hello
and I love you, or how about when you're home, and can't wait to
watch a movie and eat dinner together or just enoy each other's
company, that's is love to me, not the game of keeping record
who does what and shows off more, not about the gifts at all.

Love is free, sweet and timeless and when you have the kind of
love , your heart shines through happiness.

Hope everyone have unconditionally love this Valentine's

Below is my attempt to a shiny Heart
